The Misconceptions.

Exercise:

  • Is only for athletes
  • Is only for weight loss
  • Is recreational or a luxury
  • Needs to be max intensity
  • Is all about moving slow / holding poses
  • Is useful only to build max amount of muscle

The Facts

Your body adapts to what you make it do.

For example:

  • If you walk up 3 flights of stairs daily, you get better at walking up 3 flights
  • If you lift 30 pounds daily, you get better at lifting 30 pounds
  • If you practice walking on your hands, you get better at it

So, exercise is structured movement for a specific target outcome.

Yes, exercise can help with sports, weight loss, and building muscle.

And exercise can be slow, holding poses, high intensity and everything in between.

But if you use exercise only for one of the things listed above, you’re missing the big picture.

This is Exercise at Dare Strength.

  • Exercise is learning how to move
  • Exercise is often challenging but safe
  • Exercise helps build cardio as well as strength
  • Exercise includes high intensity but more moderate intensity

We believe exercise needs to:

  • Help improve your daily life
  • Get you fitter to do daily activities more easily
  • Build strength and endurance for your future quality of life

We combine this with milestones and building healthy habits for motivation and consistency.

Milestones like:

  • being able to do a pull up
  • weight loss, fat loss and losing inches
  • running further, lifting heavier, performing better

Athletes exercise to perform the best their sport.

What if you exercised to perform the best for your sport, your life?

More energy, strength, endurance, mobility, focus, mental clarity, stress tolerance.
